Adrian Aardoom is the head of retirement distribution at Challenger, responsible for leading the national strategy that supports advisers, licensees, and industry partners in delivering stronger retirement income outcomes for clients. With more than 15 years of experience across wealth management, superannuation, and investment distribution, Adrian has built a career focused on strengthening the connection between advice practices and high-quality retirement solutions. Since joining Challenger, Adrian has held a range of senior leadership roles, including head of national licensee relationships and national manager for platforms and key accounts. In these positions, he has overseen the development of strategic partnerships, managed complex distribution channels, and played a key role in expanding Challenger’s presence within key advice networks across Australia. Known for his collaborative leadership style, commercial mindset, and deep understanding of the retirement landscape, Adrian is widely respected for helping advice groups navigate regulatory change and implement effective retirement income strategies. Earlier in his career, he worked in analytical and client-focused roles, providing him with a strong technical foundation that informs his approach to distribution and stakeholder engagement. Adrian holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Monash University and remains committed to supporting the evolution of the retirement income sector through education, partnership, and industry collaboration.
