BGL Corporate Solutions, Australia’s leading supplier of SMSF administration solutions, has now released Big Data filters for the proposed superannuation changes foreshadowed by the Government in the 2016/2017 Federal Budget. BGL’s Simple Fund 360 clients can now filter and report member accounts to which the proposed $1.6m pension cap and $500k non concessional contribution cap apply.
“Being able to work with Amazon Elastic Search gives BGL and our clients a huge advantage” says BGL Managing Director Ron Lesh. “There simply is no other SMSF software that can instantly provide big data benefits to clients like Simple Fund 360.”
BGL’s sees Big Data analytics and filtering as the future for SMSF processing. “Big Data provides instant critical information to our Simple Fund 360 clients” Lesh said. “Running reports just doesn’t cut it in 2016 – this is how we did things in 1997. SMSF administrators need to be able to filter, analyse and extract critical data in seconds to provide the services their clients expect and Simple Fund 360 is the only SMSF platform that can do this.”
“BGL has almost 1,600 firms representing 90,000 SMSFs using Simple Fund 360 making Simple Fund 360 by far the most widely used web based SMSF administration platform in Australia” said Lesh. “Clients are comforted to know that moving to Simple Fund 360 means all their data and documents are also migrated. They understand they will not need to rely on third parties to get historical information about their funds.”
BGL released CAS 360 to Beta in August 2016. “There are almost 1,500 companies on the beta platform who are already benefiting from the incredible automation CAS 360 provides” added Lesh. “BGL has not set a commercial release date for CAS 360 but it is not too far away.”
BGL will attending XeroCon in Brisbane from 7-9 September 2016 and the CAANZ SMSF Conference in Melbourne from 12-13 September 2016 . “This will be an opportunity our clients to check out CAS 360 and Simple Fund 360″ noted Lesh. “Both products have come a long way in the past 12 months. Having the best hosting environment at Amazon Wed Services (AWS) and using many of the advanced services AWS has to offer, gives BGL and out clients a huge competitive advantage.”
BGL will be at stand 35 at XeroCon 2016.
