Sonya is the GM of Technology and Operations at Diverger, most recently she has had responsibility for technology strategy and cyber implementation. She has over 25 years’ of experience in business transformation, leadership and change across financial services including, Advice Operations, Technology, Transformation, Paraplanning and Policy and early on working as a financial planner. Prior to Diverger, Sonya held senior leadership roles across Paragem, BT Financial Group, Mercer and Morgan Stanley.
With a longstanding passion for technology, process improvement and execution, Sonya also has an MBA with a specialisation in Technology from UNSW, is a green belt in Six Sigma process improvement in addition to having her Grad Diploma in Financial Planning.
When she is not focused on Tech, you may find her being mum to 3, supporting other female professionals with their personal brand and style, working on editorial shoots, listening to her favourite podcasts or enjoying her next caffeine hit.
