Barclays Wealth - Long Hard Slog image.JPGBarclays Wealth believes global growth will sit at 1 per cent in 2009, the lowest rate since the second world war. As well as including macroeconomic forecasts and their implications for investment, the report suggests adopting a defensive investment portfolio for the first quarter of 2009, and shifting into credit and equities over the course of the year, building risk positions more forcefully in the second half.
