Steve Stubbs

After studying History at University in Southampton, Steve commenced his career in Hong Kong working briefly for a large trading company.  Much of the time was spent in exports, which involved working with several sweat shop factories in Kowloon, in shipping and visiting cargo ships moored in Hong Kong harbour.

Steve returned to the City of London where he became a shipbroker travelling the globe extensively.  He was responsible for one of the earliest sales to the Communist Chinese as China started to open up to the outside world following the death of Mao Tse Tung.  During his time in the shipping business, Steve studied accountancy.  Following six years in ship-broking he went on to set up his own property business in London – Redwood Properties.  He was joined shortly thereafter by a business partner.

Over the following 26 years Redwood built the company into a property business that owns property in the retail, residential, office, industrial and hotel sectors. Steve’s manages the financial side of the business.

Ricky Sutton

Ricky is an award-winning journalist with a 20-year career in print, digital and video in Australia and the UK behind him.

He has spent the past decade starting and running new media businesses which have more than eight million monthly readers and revenues in excess of $50 million-a-year.

He created Epiphany Media in late 2008, a bespoke consultancy designed to help businesses evolve and take advantage of new opportunities in the fracturing media landscape.

He is currently employed by Fairfax Media as Head of Video serving video to more than 4.5 million people monthly and growing their video on demand service www.smh.tv

Sheridan Lee

Sheridan set up shed enterprises in 1996 and has over 23 years experience in PR and marketing within financial services in Australia. She began her career as a reporter for film industry magazine Encore, before assisting publisher Greg Bright in launching a new financial title, Super Review, where she later became Editor. From there Sheridan moved to Fairfax Magazines where she spent a year as deputy editor of Personal Investor and contributor to BRW.

In 1990 Sheridan moved into marketing, working with global financial services groups including Swiss Bank (now UBS) and Alliance Capital. Her role entailed business development, client servicing, branding and product development for the institutional marketplace.

Initially devoted to marketing global investment management firms in Australia, Sheridan has worked for a number of leading financial services houses in various capacities including business development and media strategy.

Sheridan holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney.

John Williams

John Williams, a chartered accountant with 18 years experience, is the Managing Director of Lumina Outsourced Accountancy Solutions. Lumina acts as a specialist outsourced accounting and finance department for businesses operating in Australia, delivering proven solutions to meet management and parent entity requirements, and ensuring that the business remains compliant from a financial and an accounting perspective.

John is a leading commentator and advisor on accountancy and compliance to the funds management industry in Australia. He is responsible for the accounting and finance department for several prominent Australian fund managers, including PIMCO – an organisation John has acted for 12 years.

John also assists numerous internationally-owned businesses that are at various stages of development, from start-up through to fully established businesses, in the Australian market.

Teresa Hope

Teresa started her career in the banking and finance sector in lending with NAB before adding office management and events production to her experience. She has worked in the finance industry since 1998 with two of Australia’s leading finance publishing and events companies. At InvestorInfo, while being the Company Secretary she also assisted in the public listing of the Company.

After a period of self-employed conference production work she spent time at market intelligence and research consulting firm brandmanagement.

Currently the CFO and HR manager for Conexus Financial, she is also the Company Secretary for the company.
